After more than 20 years in the foundry and automotive industries, I decided in 2025 to establish Metal Foundry Services. My goal is to provide you with independent, tailor-made support and to assist you professionally with my expertise and bespoke skills.

As a trained foundry mechanic and graduate engineer (Diploma) with a focus on technical operations management, I laid a solid foundation in the industry early on.

In the past ten years, I worked in Central Purchasing, initially as Global Lead Supplier Development Manager at SCHAEFFLER and later as Global Technical Category Manager at BOSCH. During this time, I audited numerous foundries worldwide and collaborated closely with them to further develop processes and technologies together with the respective technical experts. A clear and transparent line of communication between client and supplier has been – and continues to be – an essential cornerstone of this work. In doing so, I consistently navigated the tension between the conflicting objectives of cost, quality, and delivery reliability – a challenge that continually demanded my problem-solving skills and diplomatic finesse.

In addition, I have conducted training sessions worldwide for various organizations and departments—both to impart fundamental foundry knowledge and to promote a deeper understanding of processes and their potential through practical examples.

Thanks to close relationships with leading foundry equipment manufacturers, foundry institutes, and laboratories globally, I have access to a strong network that facilitates the latest technologies and best practices.
